About HoverReel
What is HoverReel?
Shoppable video for your own website, added with one short code. Upload or link a video, tag it to a product or a button, and choose one of 8 Player styles.
Who is it for?
Online stores first, and any business with a website and videos.
Is it a live-shopping tool?
No. It shows the videos you already have, any time, on your own pages.
Setup
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste one code into a block your website already has.
How long does setup take?
Most people have a working Player in under 15 minutes.
What video do I need?
Any video you have. Upload a file up to 10 minutes long, or paste a link to a longer one where it's already hosted. Vertical or horizontal both work.
Which platforms does it work with?
Any website that lets you paste code. Add to Cart works on Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce.

Why does the Player look empty in my site editor?
Most editors don't run outside code while you edit. Check your live page.
Shopping and results
Can shoppers add to cart from the video?
Yes, on Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce, including size and color.
Can each product page show its own videos?
Yes. Paste one Player on your product template.
Will it slow down my website?
No. Videos load only when they're about to be seen, and quality matches the Player's size.
What can I measure?
Views, watch time, completion, product clicks and add-to-carts, per video and per Player.
Account, pricing and privacy
What does it cost?
The beta is free for the businesses in it, and spots are limited. Everyone on the early access list gets founding-member pricing at launch: the first 3 months at half price, then launch prices locked for as long as you stay subscribed. You'll get at least 60 days' notice before any fee.

How do I get access?
Join the early access list. We open beta spots a few at a time and set each account up personally.
